Allan Lister
Allan Lister has been called “far ahead of
his time." He is the talented creative mind behind a company
called Parable Productions. His goals include creating shows and
programs to entertain, enlighten and create good feelings. A parable is
a story or narrative used to illustrate a point. Hence, his company
name reflects many of his goals!
His audience varies from two years to one hundred
years! Allan has teaching programs for preschool through elementary. He
does assemblies for both public and private schools. He has
teaching/ministry/entertainment programs for every church need. He
produces shows for seniors and retirement centers. Although the bulk of
his entertainment is done as Rinky Dink®, Humor Technician (clown),
he often does monologues as a variety of other characters. He does
comedy programs at banquets for civic groups, church and benefit shows.
His comedy flavored programs are rich in colorful props, background
music and fun. He sometimes embellishes a program or a point with
magic. He brings a backdrop, his own sound and lights. Most of his
programs, both as Allan and as the clown, include audience
participation. His daughter Shannon, performs with him as her schedule
allows.
As Rinky Dink®, Humor Technician (clown),
Allan does birthday parties, business promotions, festivals and
parades. He is a balloon artist, mime and comedy buffoon. His partner,
Little Renny Dink, adds another dimension to the comedy mix. She
becomes the foil to Rinky Dink’s sometimes offbeat ways of
thinking.
