Crusades, Camps and Bible
Schools
Below you will find our
programs and stories. Any of our related teaching
materials may be reproduced for instruction. You
provide crafts and music.
We have developed five different themes for your next crusade, camp or Bible
school: Water, Creation, Making Choices, Colors, and Christmas. Other themed lessons are
also listed below. The first session is always
opened in the same manner. Allan applies the makeup
in front of the children/adults. As he becomes the
clown, Rinky Dink, he discusses how he chose to
become the clown just as we choose to ask Jesus
into our heart. The Christian significance of his
makeup sets the stage for the remaining lessons. If
other characters are used, the changes to those
characters are also made in front of the group.
Many of the events of
Scripture take place around water or water plays an
important part in the parable or story. These
stories include “Noah,”
“Jonah,” and
the “Fool” who built his house on the
sand. Throughout the series, surprise object
are used.such as changing “water into
wine” which illustrates the first miracle of
Jesus. Another object lesson,
“Cast-N-Nets,” illustrates Jesus
telling His followers to cast their nets on the
other side of the boat.
Schools and media are
bombarding our children with the theories of
evolution. We, as Christians, need to be combating
this philosophy on every front. “God’s Photo Album” is designed to be a rebuttal of the
evolution theory. The setting is a
“photographer’s studio.” Several
people are chosen as models. When their picture
looks like a monkey, the fun and education begin!
The next lesson is done as a mime. Mime whiteface
makeup is put on in front of the children. A
discussion on the way satan works is presented. “The Fall,” the story of Adam and Eve, is done
in mime to a prerecorded narration. The promise of
Jesus Christ is emphasized and the mime is finished
with a flaming sword! The final presentation is the “Gentle Shepherd.” We discuss how Jesus is the
sacrificial lamb.
This series also opens with
the makeup program. It is followed by the story “Little Sins” talks about how we need to learn the
Word. It helps to protect us from satan I Pet.
5:8. The series also includes the “Rinky Dink Story.” This is the story of how Rinky
Dink’s “salvation.” The story of
Jonah completes this series as we learn how, at
first, Jonah makes a wrong choice.
Originally developed as a
crusade for preschoolers, this series also works
with older children. Colors also play a role in
God’s creation. This series includes the
story of Noah complete with rainbow! There are
several magical “surprise object
lessons” used in this series.
Here is a different idea! Your
church could have a Christmas Crusade! A variety of
different characters come to life, i.e. the Christmas Toy, Rinky
Dink’s Christmas Present, Ol’ St. Nick*
and Joseph** as
we illustrate the true meaning of Christmas.
Check out those programs below!
“Ol’ St.
Nick,” is a
presentation of the origins of Santa.. Do you know
where Santa came from? Most people think of him as
secular. Surprisingly, Santa is our version of St
Nicholas, a third century priest. He spent more
than thirty years in prison because of his
Christianity. Born into wealth, he used his entire
fortune to aid the poor and then begged for money
from others to continue his mission. Much like our
modern day Mother Teresa, he lived his giving life
truly for Jesus.
“Joseph, His
Story” is a
non-clown monologue. This is Joseph’s view of
the birth of Jesus. It starts when Mary and Joseph
meet and continues through the resurrection. There
is a strong call for commitment at the end.
Other programs include “Rinky Dink’s Christmas
Present” and “I’m A Christmas
Toy.” Both
are based on John 3:16
“Grandpa Rufus” is another non-clown
monologue. Beginning with a mime, the father ages
to a frail old man in a nursing home. He tells
about his life and how he forgot about God. As a
result, his children do not know about God. This is
also based on John 3:16.
“Detective Dink” is a program about the fruits of
the spirit and who we should really glorify at
halloween, It is available only in October.
There are many other programs
available both as the clown and as other
characters. Please be in prayer about how God can
use these programs in your situation, then give us
a call.
Note: Not all programs may be
available each season. Call for more information.
